Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at 5:30 p.m., a public hearing, as
required by Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended, will be held via
teleconference* at Telephone Number: 877-402-9753, PIN 7731329, by the Board of
Directors of the Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District (the “PGMUD”), a political
subdivision of the State of Texas, for Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department, a Texas
non-profit volunteer fire department organized under the laws of the State of Texas, with
respect to the proposed issuance and making of two (2) tax-exempt bonds (“Promissory
Notes”) by Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department (“PGVFD”). The proposed
Promissory Notes will be used by PGVFD to refinance two prior tax-exempt bonds, one
used to acquire within its coverage territory a certain tract of land upon which to construct
a fire station (remaining balance: $69,000.00), and the second used to construct a fire
station upon such land (remaining balance: $177,000.00), all in furtherance of the
firefighting service agreement between the PGVFD and PGMUD.
The Promissory Notes are to be issued by PGVFD and the proceeds will be used by
PGVFD, as Issuer, as indicated above, and in accordance with such terms and
conditions (including payment terms, rate of interest, security, etc.) as set forth in the tax exempt Promissory Notes. The maximum principal amount of the tax-exempt Promissory
Notes, collectively, will be no greater than $250,000.00. The Promissory Notes will be
obligations of the Pecan Grove Volunteer Fire Department. The fire station the subject of
the Promissory Notes is Station 2, located at 3700 Farmer Rd., Richmond, TX 77406.
The hearing will provide a reasonable opportunity to provide comment. All interested
persons are invited to attend the public hearing - or may file written comments with the
PGVFD (Station 1, 727 Pitts Rd., Richmond, TX 77406) or PGMUD (2035 FM 359 K,
Richmond, TX 77406) prior to the date of hearing - to express any comments they may
have regarding the proposed execution and issuance of the tax-exempt Promissory
Notes.

* As a result of the current COVID-19 virus epidemic emergency, the convening at one location of a quorum of the PGMUD Board is difficult or impossible. Therefore, the PGMUD Board will conduct this meeting by telephone conference call rather than by physical quorum pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.125 and guidance of the Governor of the State of Texas.
Members of the public are entitled to participate and address the PGMUD Board during the
telephonic meeting. In all respects, this meeting will be open to the public and compliant with
applicable law and guidance of the Governor of the State of Texas.
